Scentsational Skin

A few weekends ago, a friend and I decided to visit a spa in St. George, Utah. We had a great time and left there feeling totally renewed! As experts (and spa goers) have come to realize, spas, through their use of aromatherapy, are helping people achieve overall well being.

Nanette Downer, the Director of Education at the SkinScience Institute in Salt Lake City, understands how valuable essential oils are in treatments that estheticians perform, and that's why she includes a field trip to the Young Living Lavender Farm as part of her esthetics curriculum.

Her students recently toured the farm and learned about the many uses of Young Living's therapeutic-grade essential oils. Instructor Angelene Hodgson said, "At the school, we use the essential oils during our facial treatments. We are focused on helping the client feel comfortable and relaxed, both of which you can do with essential oils."

Angelene's favorite oil for relaxation:
Young Living's lavender essential oil.

How exciting! I finally had the chance to tour the farm while going on a "field trip" for school (Skin Science). I had heard of Young Living a couple years back while in massage therapy school and have had the chance to use your oils, supplied be a couple clients, in my practice. It was wonderful to finally be at the farm, learn about your products and smell first hand your beautiful bouquets of essential oils.

Our guide was EXTREMELY knowlegable and enlightening. She ignited my aromatherapy curiousity even more.

I am really looking forward to using your oils in our aromatherapy facial class.

Thanks again Young Living Farm!
