We had close to 3,000 guests at the Lavender Farm on Friday for Convention, and it was absolutely fabulous! We loved having you here, and we want to thank you for your enthusiasm and kindness. We hope you'll visit us often!
Farm Day began early (the buses arrived an hour and a half earlier than expected, which caught us a bit off guard!), but the cool morning breeze was a lovely way to introduce guests to our exclusive farm oil blend Garden Breeze. This floral blend was created to remind visitors of the fragrances enjoyed while walking through our herb gardens.
We also offered wagon tours, distillery tours, presentations by Gary Young at our new exhibit of early distillation in France, Animal Oils Training (Raindrop) presentation by Gary Young, Bath Salt and Lavender Foot Scrub booth, delicious shaved ice and sorbets with Young Living products, fabulous food and entertainment, activities for the kids such as the Lavender Fairy Tea Party and Knights Tale Party, rock climbing, pony rides, paddleboat rides, and so much more!
My favorite moments were spent watching ladies sitting back and relaxing as they received a soothing foot scrub with our new lavender products, seeing Mary Young's mother perform on the stage playing and singing her heart out, listening to Gary Young as he shared fascinating facts about the early distillation methods in France and the development of his lavender farms, hearing the sounds of children laughing and playing at the parties, reconnecting with so many friends, and hearing comments from our guests such as, "We've had such a wonderful time here. This farm is absolutely beautiful. Gary must be so proud!"
I hope you'll share your thoughts and favorite moments from Farm Day with us. You may even win a bottle of Lavender Peppermint essential oil if you post your comment before June 21st! I'll be posting photos soon, so be sure to check back often on our blog. And for those of you who had the chance to enjoy the cool NingXia Red shaved ice and essential oil sorbets, I will also be posting those recipes soon!

I am astounded by seeing the farm feed almost 3000 people without extememly long lines and not running out of food. I was so happy that there was enougof the farmh oil blends to go around an I could bring back the Garden Breeze to try on myself and share with others. We were truly blessed to have such perfect weather. We had a completely clear blue sky, cool air and just a light breeze. I sure could have used a YOung Living hat, but they ran out before I got in line. Everyone else must have had the same idea. I did enjoy the large serving of good clean water in the YOung Living water bottle. When I get back to work, it will sit on my desk for peolpe to ask me about Young Living.

We had a fabulous time at convention. I really liked the strawberry, NingXia Red drink,(I had 2) the foot rub, making our own bath salts. The food was great! I really am waiting anxiously for the receipes. The food was excellent, including the desserts. Hope you will publish the receipes soon!
The meetings were very informative, & we are real excited about the new oils, and the testimonies. Love the lavender drink bottles, tee shirts, and things we can use to help promote our business.
Thanks, Gary & Mary. Hope to see you at many more conventions.

I was so sad that the lavender wasn't in bloom yet my amazement proceeded the sadness with feelings of joy and excitment about being at the farm. The knowledge provided by Gary Young on how the oils are processed was very intriguing. I love the purity and knowing that these pure products are availible to me. Also, the Raindrop demonstration on the horse was very informative. I learned that I can use the same care for my dogs, wonderful! Thank you Gary and Mary!
I want to thank all of the amazing Young Living staff members for the fabulous day visiting the warehouse and the farm. The weather was perfect, the warehouse was impeccable and the farm was simply magical. I am in love all over again with Young Living! My favorite moments at the farm were watching my daughter delight in making Lavender Fairy wishes and "meeting" the male camel who was so full of personality. Lunch was delicious too. Thank you again for everything. The effort and skill to host such a large group was huge success and does not go unappreciated. You are the best! xo-Carla Golden, 893979
I was so impressed by the farm. It is absolutely a must for a first time convention attendee. I was disappointed that I was unable to purchase the gentle breeze or Lavender Peppermint oils. I did get the last bottle of Lavender Honey for my honey back home. The employees were incredible. I cannot believe that so few of you put on an event of this magnitude, and did it so well. The farm was just another confirmation to me that Young Living and Dr. Young are the real deal. I am taking the next excellent step by spreading the news. We are the world's leader of essential oils.

The Lavender Farm is one of our favorite places to visit for the whole family. Farm Day was a perfect day. Where else can you learn how to perform Raindrop therapy on a horse by Gary Young?
The distillation process
was fascinating to learn about. Experiencing the restorative floral water runoff of German chamomile was a pampering treat. The children loved the Lavender Fairy tea party and pony rides!
Relaxing on the beautiful grounds
with friends old and new made us feel right at home.

Susan Pearce # 984746.....I had a absolutely wonderful time at the farm!! It was my 1st time to convention and of course to the farm. The weather was so beautiful, no wind and beautiful blue skies. It was amazing with 3,000+ people there, how easily the lines for eating and the lines for just about everything else moved in such an orderly fashion!! We were some of the lucky ones, as we arrived early and were able to take advantage of the wagon ride, the paddle boat ride and walking thru the beautiful gardens and the grounds. All of it was wonderful and one of the highlights of the convention. Thank you Gary and Mary for creating such a blessing for all of us to share with others.
I am new and did not get to go, but maybe next year.. lavendar is my absolute favorite.. I am excited to try so me f the recipe's as well!

In my dreams to be able to go to the lavendar farm..........!! Maybe next year, God willing. I never used to like lavendar then started using it on my nails and suddenly found myself lifting my hand to smell the beautiful fragrance. Honestly, a dramatic change for me. What a treat it would be to go there! Visualy, and fragrantly.........!
I adore all of the lavender products the Young Living makes! And I bet the Farm Day was fabulous fun too!
I am new to YL and enjoyed reading about Farm Day...sounds like I missed a great foot massage, among other things!
The day was just perfect, I just loved being at the farm I did not want to leave. Everything was just perfect and the food was outstanding. I can't wait to go back.
Lavender farm day was great. Please, please, please, ask Gary to put the Garden Breeze blend into production. I love it and so does everyone I've shared it with. My thanks and kudos to everyone at the farm, the warehouse and the convention center who helped to make this event so special and to the corporate staff and of course Gary and Mary too. You all have my love and deep appreciation.
I am relatively new to Young Living and have not had an opportunity to experience any events happening on the mainland. Hope to go one of these years! I use lavender regularly for my skin, wouldn't be without it!
Lavender has a lot of use nowadays but is even more popular among bath products including bath salts and its fragrances.

Loved the day at the farm. Seeing the process of distillation was amazing. Loved the lavender labyrinth. Only wish you could have had enough Garden Breeze for each person to purchase. Many of us didn't get a chance. Thanks for the lovely day!
