My youngest daughter and I were walking through the lavender fields tonight breathing in that wonderful fragrance and enjoying the cool evening breeze. Just a couple of days ago, I brought a group of girls (my daughters and their friends) to the lavender farm to learn about herbs and the many benefits of therapeutic-grade essential oils.
These young girls loved being surrounded by beautiful, deep purple fields of lavender. Plants (especially fragrant ones like lavender!) bring children and adults joy. To top off the afternoon, the girls each made a lavender wreath to give away to a neighbor or family member. It was an absolutely perfect way to spend a summer day!
The lavender wreaths were one of the most popular craft classes offered at Lavender Days. We're glad so many guests had the opportunity to enjoy crafting with these beautiful flowers!

These wreaths are gorgeous. I love the Young Living Essential Oil in Lavender, and have blogged about it tonight!
