I love to use oils for aromatherapy purposes-I've been known to put a few dabs of oil on light bulb and then turn the light on-as the bulb gets hotter, the scent of the oils makes the room smell really good.

I have been following your blog since the beginning of summer when I came across it. I found it just after the Lavender Festival and I was heartbroken to have missed it. I am having a baby in December and my motivation to get back in shape is to run in the 5k next spring.
I would love to use your new oils during my birth. What a welcoming scent that would be for my new baby

I have not used lavender pepperming yet. I understand you can only get this at the farm. But, I have used many of your other oils. Today for instance, going to work I knew that I really had a lot of work on my desk and didn't think that I could get it finished. Then, I remembered the Envision Oil in my purse. At 8am and noon I put some on with the affirmation of "I envision getting a lot done today". By 5pm I was amazed at the amount of work I had completed for the day. Thank you for all the wonderful products and work that you do.
Gratefully,

I am very eager to use your herbal remedies to assist in controlling my symptoms from an autoimmune disease of my inner ear/bilateral (Meniere's disease). I have failed all conventional medical attempts to stabilize me (9 inner ear surgeries within 2 1/2 years and guinea pig for the FDA )and am now seeking alternative medicine routes to assist in controlling my vertigo, motion sensitivity, nausea, loss of balance, loss of hearing, etc... HELP!!!! I have a masters degree in nursing and have researched this through many avenues. I hope this one is the "gold mine" I've been looking for. Thank you for your eternal committment to this herbal remedy route for medicinal purposes.

I have been using Young Livings Essential Oils for 16 years now and know that they are the best! I am 24 years old so I started using them when I was what? Nine years old! When I was a kid and had a tummy ache Peppermint was like a band aid and made it all better. It's also so refreshing. When me and my sibling would get cuts, scraps, burns ect lavender oil was what what stopped the pain and helped heal. These oils are so great for kids so much better then using medicine from the grocery store which I will never use for my kids. Kids love the oils and it's so cute.
There are so many benefits that Lavender and peppermint have. If you are having a health issue and don't know what to use use lavender. It's so powerful.
Tonight I went and got a facial. The Lady giving the facial told me she was going to use some lavender during the facial cause it's so relaxing and it's great for your skin. It was great! When i got done with the facial and got up I saw the bottle of Lavender she was using and it was Young Livings! It was so exciting. I told her she was using the best. I will be going back to her for another facial for sure.

I really enjoy the tips in the YL Newsletter especially the one to use peppermint oil on my pillow to promote better sleep (which works quite well). I've also used lavender the same way; so I'm looking forward to the Lavender-Peppermint Oil combination and to reading tips on all the ways to use it.

Lavender & peppermint are a super combo! For the month of August my massage center is offering a "summer cool down special:" a massage with lavender-peppermint oil mixed into some V-6 mixing oil! We give each session a cool finish by raindropping a few drops of peppermint oil neat onto the back and then feathering it up. Perfect combo for a hot summer day!

I have used YL oils for many years now, I use them in my esthetics business when I custom blend products. I use lavender oil after I do a chemical peel! It really helps heal and repair skin. This blend would be wonderful for a sunburn or wind burn! Can't wait to try it!

Lavender-Peppermint is our all time favorite oil! My daughter (who is now nine) and I visited the farm this summer and tried it for the first time there! We are now addicted to it! It's great for so many things! And it smells like pure heaven!
I have been massaging oils into her since she was a baby. She was five weeks early, and my Dr. prescribed infant massage, so we massaged her with peace and calming oil every night. The lavender peppermint is divine. I had a migraine come on and put it all over my head and neck, and I'm not kidding it was gone in twenty minutes! We also use lavender oil every night on the bottoms of our feet, on our third eye, temples and forehead and our house is all sleeping like a rock.
Love this product!

This oil is my new favorite! I do about 20 raindrop techniques a week at The Living Well Integrative Health Care Clinic in Saginaw, MI. I have always used pepermint as the last oil but started using the new lavender-peppermint instead. My clients love it and report that it gives a more balanced feeling than just the peppermint. They say it is less of a chill if using a hot towel in the end. Most of my clients have very stressfull lives and lavender is always a benefit. I used to add it additionally in the raindrop but now it is not an extra step. I have also been diffusing it at the clinic and everyone is so happy but still motivated!! It's like the yin/yang perfectly balanced oil. Thank you so much for this gift :)

I have been using the YL oils since my sister introduced me to them a couple of years ago. My rule is - if in doubt, use Lavendar. It's so soothing! Also, I don't take an airplane ride without my Peace and Calming - and the terra cotta pendant that came out in Dec. is great for putting a drop on and inhaling when needed (like when I'm in a l-o-o-o-ng line and wondering if I'll get to the plane on time).

Tracy said...

As a dentist, the peppermint could act to boost my staff's productivity while the lavender would relax my patients. It could also be used to reduce fever and calm the "patient" into rest. Especially useful for young ones. Another great thought would be to use on headaches that occur before bedtime.

artemisdancer said...

This new blend of lavender and peppermint is such a wonderful combination. I have used it to relieve headaches, and to help me unwind to go to sleep. I was in a car accident on the way home from YL convention and have used this blend on my lower back to relieve the pain with great relief. Also this year I was affected by allergies with itchy eyes and runny nose. The blend of lavender and peppermint really helped calm those symptoms down. So many examples, but this last one, I shared lavender peppermint oil with a friend who was having asthma symptoms and with one inhale, she felt able to breath better. She wanted to get some, so hopefully I can win a bottle and share it with her

Our family loves using YLO's. We use the peppermint for tummyaches, and sore muscles. We use the lavendar for relaxation, and when we are sick. I also used the thieves oil on the clay pendant when traveling on the airplane and it was great to know I was being protected from all the germs around me. I would love to win a bottle of the lavender/peppermint oil two of the best oils to use.

I use many oils but especially lavender for my reflexology clients and when offering the service to those in need. Lavender is the most popular oil and mixes well with Vetiver and Valerian when someone really needs to relax or be able to sleep. I custom mix oils to help people find the road to wellness. I have also used oils for my dogs and horse. DiGize is great for keeping the horse gut healthy, just rub it on coronet band (feet for people) and ears and when needed all over gut area for quick relief.

I've never tried Lavender Peppermint but I'm intrigued and would love to try it -- a combo of 2 of my favorite oils!

I have used Lavender and Peppermint many times for headaches, this is a great combination both stimulating and relaxing. I have an interesting testimony about lavender. When I introduced my Mom to the oils I told her if she was not sure what oil to use in any given situation use Lavender.(Lavender being one of the most versatile oil). Well she hit and broke her little toe on the corner of a desk. She grabbed her bottle of Lavender and saturated the toe, the pain left immediately and no swelling occurred. She continued to apply the Lavender for three days and experienced no bruising or pain but what happened next was even more amazing, a corn that had been on this little toe for years suddenly fell off!! The skin underneath had regenerated!!

My wife has introduced me to the wonders of essential oils and I have to say. I was a skeptic at first but when I saw all of the things they can do. I am a true believer. Thank god for peace and calming after a hard day of work. I cant live without thieves I clean everything with it. I also love to diffuse peppermint. We were hit hard by the flood this summer so clean up has been difficult. Essential oils is making it much easier. We are using it to clean the mold left behind and to get rid of the smells.

I have Lupus and cannot take medication for it. I use all the wonderful products from Young Living, and I am doing good. I have 5 small kids from 9 to a set of 2 yr old twins. I was introduced to the essential oils when my oldest 2 were small but as for the younger 3, we have been using the oils on them since the day they were born. When my youngest was in the hospital with meningitis the dr told us what ever we were using to help our child was helping her more than what they were doing and she was released 6 months earlier than they had planned. I love Young Living Essential Oils!

I so wanted to go to the convention this year and am very excited about the lavender-peppermint blend. Interestingly, my favorite single oil (the one I would take on a desert island) is peppermint, and my husband, Mike's is lavender! So if we had the blend, we would be "all set!"
I use peppermint for headaches, stuffiness and pain from tendonitis in my ankle.
Mike uses lavender for the pain of his herniated disks and for relaxation!
I am also curious about the "Garden Breeze" blend and wonder what it contains. The new roll-ons, especially Deep Relief, are my new favorites, too!

We have a cattle ranch just southwest of Tucson, Arizona. We are working the the open copper mine here by reclaiming the processed earth. We have 200 head of cattle confined in a small area. By this confinement when one animal gets sick they all come down with it. Having two big water troughs, stuff (cattle sickness) is spread by water. I have been putting peppermint oil in the troughs. It is so great the oil floats. Each cow that drinks gets the oil on her nose and into her system. I bounce different oils for preventive measures.
When I see a calf with a running nose
I add more oils. It use to be the only way to doctor cattle is to run the whole herd through cattle chutes to make sure each one is doctered. We had a sickness come through and lost six calves and three cows before trying oils in the water. I can testify these oils healed our herd. This has taken alot of stress from them.
We doctor our cattle
using peppermint oil.
This is truly a blessing.

I received a gift of PhillipB Nordic Wood Shampoo--a blend of pinewood fragrances. It was delightful and aromatic, but as a Young Living distributor, I knew I could do better using all YL products. After some experimentation,I achieved the perfect balance. I call it:

Lavender Wood

1-Lavender Volume Shampoo--5100
2-Drops Pine(Pinus syslvestrus)3618
2-Drops Eucalyptus(Eucalyptus radiata--3538
2-Drops Juniper(Juniper osteosperma & scopulorum)--3572
2-Drops Spruce(Picea mariana)--3641

Lavender Wood Shampoo Blend brings the stimulating Pine forest aroma enhanced by the full-bodied fragrance of wafting Eucalyptus, grounded by the wood scented freshness of exhilirating Juniper, encompassed in the soft, sweet aroma drifting through a bower of Spruce.

It's a wonderfully clean and fresh adventure.

The author of www.garyyoungfarms.com has written an excellent article. You have made your point and there is not much to argue about. It is like the following universal truth that you can not argue with: Murphy's Law is always true, except if you decide to depend on it. Thanks for the info.

First, Some History: For the past couple of months, my computer has been BSODing after being idle with the top closed after 10-20 minutes Today, I installed Kaspersky Antivirus, Here where the real trouble begins, the computer kept freezing and BSODing on me, I kept having to turn it off by the power button, now the computer won't even go past the dell boot screen, it says "Internal HDD Not Found" and makes loads of loud beeping noises. I have windows XP and a Dell Laptop which I got back in August. santoramaa

I have a piece of adware on my computer that I obviously wish to get rid of (it slows down my computer... -.-). Avira Free Version is a perfectly fine antivirus program, but apparently it does not have this (insert obscene adjective here) adware on its detection list. I looked into this adware a bit more and found that AVG should have it on its detection list, which would mean a :D for me and a :( for the adware... elimation of the adware in other words. There are several problems with this idea, though. 1. I am not sure about this, but I believe I read somewhere that having multiple AVs (AntiVirus) may cause confliction between programs... is this true? (read titular question for the specifics) 2. Supposing that the above question were answered with a "Yes", I would have to remove Avira. I have also read that this action is difficult to fully complete... is this true and if so, how would I go about screwing the adware (FYI it is called WhenU SaveNow, and it is despicable in my personal opinion)? 3. Should someone else incidentally have this (virus? adware? program?)... thing... and have successfully removed it, could you answer back with your solution? Notes about the *censor*ing software... I am aware that you (ahem) should (ahem) be able to remove the "thing" (I refuse to name it except in an above example) in Windows' Add/Remove Programs panel. It is not a part of the list of removable items, so I assume it must have latched onto a download (silly brother >:O). Because my computer is second-hand, it has a variety of rather shifty programs (in my paranoid opinion). Flock I think is decent, Limewire... not so decent, my idiot brother's downloads off Limewire... VERY untrustworthy. However, the adware might have been present before that bozo downloaded Limewire, so I can't fix the blame on Limewire. Also, this adware updates itself and seems to "read" the content on the web pages I browse and display related content... fortunately, it does not understand Mandarin. The adware PHAILS (phails, fails, same thing) in that it displays its unconvincingly poor "Click me" (the "click me" idea is displayed in many ways...) ideas in Internet Explorer while I browse in Mozilla Firefox -.- Any solution would be welcome.
