At home the air is still often crisp, but I love the smell of flowers and the air after it rains. The smells and the new life urge me to spend time outside. I like to walk around and see all of the new plants and flowers that have sprouted. At home I would also walk down to the river and see how the winter storms had changed the banks. Though the Young Living Lavender Farm was covered in snow when I first was able to get a glimpse of it (& it was still breathtaking then), I can only imagine how beautiful it will be on March 22nd during the Easter Festival! These were the most happy times that always somehow seemed magical to me. Easter was one of those holidays where i always felt renewed and refreshed; spring was coming and it was always an exciting time. <BR/> I remember always having our traditional easter egg hunt and easter basket hunt. The smell in the air and of the freshly decorated eggs always reminds me of spring and easter. I work in a flower shop and am around flowers all the time. So when I can see flowers in the gardens, and around campus, it just makes me that much happier. When I think of spring, I think of being outdoors and around the beauty of the earth. It's hard not to have a happier countenance in the spring time, when flowers are blooming and the sun is shining. I really enjoyed the scent of the lemon lavender bath salts and would have bought some but I almost never take baths and when I do I always forget to put in any bath salts that I might have. The rest of the expo was quite interesting and all my hard work and faith payed off when I won a $3,000 scholarship to an Aesthetic school. I was so happy. Sadly though that is not the path in which my life is going so I am giving it to my cousin (yes, it's true they let me pass it off). Expos are great. Last year, on the first warm day in months, my roommate and I went for a walk.
